Oklahoma Winery Visitors Can Ship Wine Home

The Department of Justice Appropriations Authorization Act signed November 2, 2002, included a provision allowing wine, purchased while visiting a winery, to be shipped to another state. Purchasers must be in accordance with state law in that they could carry the wine into the state to which the wine is shipped.

Purchasers must be of legal age to buy wine. The shipment must require an adult signature upon delivery, and the wine must be for personal use only and not for resale.
