Excellent KOA Campground in Checotah, Oklahoma

If you ever find yourself traveling along I-40, let me reccomend an excellent place to stop and recharge your batteries. Dianne, Dylan and I spent a couple days here recently and it is a great little RV park.

The Checotah KOA campground offers tent camping, shady RV sites, a playground, a nature trail, barnyard zoo, pool and restaurant AND this KOA has Dagger brand kayaks! Rent one for each member of the family and spend a few peaceful hours paddling on Lake Eufaula or other nearby paddling spots.
